To help you feel prepped and polished, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your appointment:
📅 Notes – Please allow about 2.5-3 hours for your full preview experience (makeup & Hair Trial) - Please call or text once you arrive.
🧖♀️ Skin Prep: The Glowy Base To help your makeup last beautifully and photograph flawlessly: – Gently exfoliate 1–2 days before – Arrive with clean, moisturized skin (no makeup) – Avoid new skincare right before the preview – Hydrate well the day before and day of
💇♀️ Hair Prep: The Styled Crown To help your style hold and look its best: – Wash your hair the night before (shampoo only — no conditioner at the roots) – Blow-dry smooth if possible – If you have curly or textured hair, please blow-dry it straight or flat iron it unless you’ve discussed a curly style with your artist in advance – Avoid flat-ironing or curling ahead of time unless directed – Bring any clip-in extensions if we’re using them
💍 What to Bring – 2–3 hair and makeup inspo photos that reflect your personal style – Photos of yourself with looks you’ve loved – A picture of your wedding dress & any accessories (veil, jewelry, etc.) – Lipstick ideas or bring your fave – Optional: your bridal earrings or hairpiece
👰 Dress the Part – Wear a white or neutral top (tank, robe, or button-up works great!) – Natural light is best — try to sit by a window if possible – Bring your energy — this should feel fun, luxe, and collaborative!
🤍 Final Tips – We’ll take photos and notes to lock in your look – Don’t worry if it’s not 100% perfect on the first try — it’s a test run, and we can tweak things together! – If you want to try a second style/look, just let me know in advance (extra time/fee may apply)
